Author & Formatting Guidelines for Paper Submissions
In this document you can find the submission and formatting guidelines for paper submissions.
The EuroMed Academy Conference invites the submission of manuscripts in the form of a paper or an extended abstract. Authors who submit an extended abstract for blind review should not submit a paper during the Final Submission stage. All accepted manuscripts will be presented at the conference and published in the Book of Proceedings.
The length of the paper must not exceed 15 pages, including tables, figures, and references.
Authors may submit a maximum of two manuscripts to the conference for review by strictly adhering to the following guidelines:
Submission Guidelines:
1. Title: Provide a concise, descriptive title that directly reflects the focus of your study. Keep it clear and precise so readers can immediately understand the main topic or approach of your research.
2. Coauthors’ affiliation details: At the beginning of the submission process, you will be asked to provide the names and affiliation details of all coauthors. Please ensure you provide this information.
At the end of the submission process, you will be required to upload your anonymous manuscript in PDF format. It is important that this document does not include the names or affiliation details of any coauthors, in order to maintain anonymity for the double-blind review process.
3. Keywords: Provide up to eight concise keywords that reflect the main topics and focus of your research.
4. Abstract. Although a structured abstract is not required, you may still find it helpful to consider the following sections when drafting your abstract.
- Purpose, aim and objectives: Describe the motivation behind your research. Specify the aim you want to achieve and outline the objectives that guide your study. Clearly state any research questions or hypotheses addressed.
- Literature review and theoretical framework: Provide a brief overview of the main theories and conceptual frameworks relevant to your study. Highlight major themes, debates, or gaps that shaped your investigation.
- Methodology and methods: Describe and justify the methodology and methods you adopted or are adopting in this study.
- Main findings and contribution: Summarise your main findings and results, focusing on the most important data or trends observed and noting how they address the original purpose of this research.
- Originality and value: Emphasise the importance of your findings in a clear and balanced manner. Avoid overstating claims and consider possible directions for future research.
5. Main Body: Include the various sections and subsections of the paper, such as introduction, aim and objectives, literature review, methodology, findings, discussion, and references. Sections and subsections should not be numbered.
6. References must follow the Harvard referencing style, be listed in alphabetical order, and be thoroughly checked for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
